Rounding the Corners

One month until Christmas Eve (for us Europeans, it's a bigger deal than the 25th). I remember my last Christmas. To say it was a bummer would be an understatement. My pockets and heart were empty, and I was running exclusively on cigarette fumes and wine. I was painting like a frustrated artist, managing to pull off some pretty weirdo things, but didn't want anything to do with Christmas. No songs, no church, no tree, no parties, nothing.

Thankfully, with my head screwed back onto my head, and a bank that has purpose in my life, I'm slowly stepping into the Holiday waters. I'm ready. Bring me the Santa. I've got a few things picked out.

Tonight, we drink and celebrate the beauty that is life.
