I remember when my mind was so full of creativity that it took a bitch-load of chocolate to calm me down. I'm getting there again, thankfully.
It's exciting to imagine what the final art will look like. This year's list includes paintings, jewelry, and chocolates. My last chocolate project didn't go too well. It was an overachieving, underwhelming attempt at trying to make cream-filled bon-bons. With different chocolate colours and embossed Christmas images on the top. If I remember correctly, the version I made in grade 6 looked oodles better. And it didn't look like the chocolates were post orgasm.
Actually, the jewelry didn't turn out too well either. I prayed really hard that the thing wouldnt fall apart as she opened the present. It didn't, but that didn't last very long. Never, ever buy cement glue from Shoppers and try to glue metal to resin on a 20-minute deadline.
I have high hopes this year, because I have money to buy the quality products I need to get it done right. Plus (here comes the jinx), I have way more time than last year.
